The new number 1?

Like other old age debates such as, Beer vs Wine, PC vs Mac and Wotsits vs Quavers  the only one worth actually caring about is Fifa vs Pro Evo.For a number of years now Fifa has been struggling to live up to its fiercest rival – Pro Evolution Soccer – but is the tide about to turn? After examining the evidence HeavenSports.com has given Fifa a resounding thumbs up.

Pro Evo and Konami have been guilty of resting on their laurels over the last few seasons and have not really improved on simply having a superior gameplay engine.  Like a seasoned campaigner Fifa has upped its work rate and really put in a shift on the training ground to ensure its latest edition is a cut above its predecessors.

The one notable difference between the two games is that Fifa has the legitimate rights to name teams and players. However, whereas before this was simply Fifa’s only real advantage over Pro Evo the 09 edition has stepped up with improved gameplay and graphics to make it the market leader.

Can Pro Evo hit back later on this year with its next release? Or, will Fifa’s new lease of life continue?
