The Fifa supremo was presented with the Order of the Companions of Oliver Reginald Tambo for his work in bringing the World Cup to South Africa. However, he was acknowledged in a most unsavoury fashion on The Presidency website and referred to as Sepp Bellend Blatter.

It is thought Blatter’s decision to categorically rule out video technology in the lead up to the World Cup may have played a part in an England or Argentina fan (both countries were victims to terrible decisions in South Africa) cheekily editing the Wikipedia entry.
