Kicking a teammate in the face, stubbing out a cigar in youth players eyes are just some of Barton’s previous convictions, but this time an alleged dressing room row with Alan Shearer has led to the former Man City star being suspended from St James Park indefinitely.
The bust-up came in the wake of Newcastle’s 3-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield, which saw Barton sent-off for a sickening last minute challenge on Xabi Alonso.
