Come on now Nicole. Ok, so Donovan didn’t actually use the word ‘unprofessional’, but that’s exactly what he was insinuating with comments made in ‘The Beckham Experiment’.

Let’s take a look at what was said shall we. Donovan is quoted, in Grant Wahl’s book, as saying "Maybe he's not a leader. Maybe he's not a captain" before implying that Beckham hasn’t been giving 100% while at the Galaxy "at a minimum you should bust your ass every day. That hasn't happened."

What’s more Donovan goes on to say "I've got to confront it somehow" as if he needs to be the one to talk through the situation with Becks. Urm, no you don’t. Why doesn’t he talk to the coach in private if he has a problem with one of his teammates?

You think if AC Milan wanted Donovan on loan he would turn around and say ‘No thanks I’m happy in the MLS’.

You ask “Tell me, is there any other team in the world who has a player under contract but let’s that player play with another team for half their season?” Yes it’s called a loan. Andriy Shevchenko? Andriy Voronin?

Sure Beckham could have handled things slightly better and his exile in Europe hasn’t helped matters, but the Galaxy have a world-class player on their hands who is a cut above anyone else in the MLS. Criticising and jeering the man is hardly the way to go about getting the best out of him on a football pitch.

Idiots - Donovan didn't call Beckham unprofessional. It was Beckham who called Donovan unprofessional for criticizing his teammate in public.

What Donovan did was point out how Becks quit on the team last year at the time that Gullit was let go and how he failed as a captain, how Beckham was not committed to the Galaxy. And it's all been proven by Becks' actions. He tried his hardest to not come back but was dragged kicking and screaming back to the Galaxy. He clearly doesn't want to be here and despite what he says, he is not committed to the Galaxy.

Tell me, is there any other team in the world who has a player under contract but let's that player play with another team for half their season? No, of course there isn't. This is ridiculous. And yet Beckham says he's committed? Please.

Once again - get your facts straight. BECKHAM CALLED DONOVAN UNPROFESSIONAL. DONOVAN DID NOT CALL BECKHAM UNPROFESSIONAL.

And Beckham's behavior through this whole thing is HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. So Beck's words are very hypocritical.
