Brazilian magic inspires Shakhtar to victory
Brazilian playmaker Jádson was the hero for Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Cup final last night scoring an extra time winner as the Ukraine outfit defeated Werder Bremen 2-1.
The Ukraine champions, boasting a Brazilian quintet, played some breathtaking football at times and thoroughly deserved the victory on the night.
Luiz Adriano put them 1-0 up in the 25th minute with a delicate shot past the advancing Werder goalkeeper Tim Wiese. However, Naldo drew the game level with a 30 yard belter in the 35th minute, before Jádson popped up in extra-time to clinch victory for Shakhtar.
