Capello - 'I'm happy because I learned a lot of things'

The Italian said ‘At some moments I was happy. At some moments I was not so happy. I’m happy because I learned a lot of things.’

‘Friendly games are always important to study the players. I wanted to see a lot of players because playing at Wembley is not the same as playing for their club.’

Goals from Frank Lampard and Jermain Defoe helped England to a 2-1 victory over Slovenia and Capello confessed after the game that the latter had given him a nice headache selection ahead of Wednesday’s World Cup qualifier against Croatia.
