Anyone who has ever played Sunday league football will tell you that a good old fashioned scrap goes part and parcel with the whole experience. It stands to reason that a bunch of hungover have a go heroes will inevitably become embroiled in fisticuffs at the slightest hint of a bad challenge.

However violent and intimidating your average Sunday morning game may prove, we bet that it’s not a patch on those lunatics in Italy who like nothing more to knock 7 bells of the proverbial out of each other in Fight Football League.

The rules appear to be very simple. Beat the hell out of your opponent.
