Carragher vs Arbeloa

It’s a question that has reared its ugly head again this weekend with Liverpool’s defensive duo of Jamie Carragher and Alvaro Arbeloa almost coming to blows at the Hawthorns.

The pair needed to be separated by Xavi Alonso in Liverpool’s penultimate Premier League game of the season against West Brom at the weekend.

It’s not the first time we have seen players from the same team getting involved in similar altercations with Ricardo Fuller, Andy Griffin, Emmanuel Adebayor and Niclas Bendtner all guilty of damaging team morale this season.

However, all of these incidents pale into insignificance when compared to John Hartson’s training ground bust-up with Eyal Berkovic.
