Part and parcel of being a professional sportsman is that you occasionally have to be interviewed by ignorant journalists who know next to nothing about you or what you actually do.

Thierry Henry found this out recently when Fox 5 interviewed him about his transfer to MLS side the New York Red Bulls. Presenters Rosanna Scotto and Greg Kelly began the disastrous interrogation process by insultingly telling the former Arsenal and Barcelona ace that he had won the World Cup.

The ridiculousness of the interview was compounded by cutaway shots of arguably Henry’s lowest moment in football – his handball for France against Ireland. Kudos goes to the Frenchman though for batting away the silly questions with such good grace.
