Rob Green: No words are neccessary

Each country has now played a solitary game at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, but are we any closer to discovering who will rule supreme in 3 weeks time?

Probably not, but all will soon be revealed as we head into the second pool of games that will begin to shape the 8 World Cup groups.

Here’s what we have learnt thus far…

1. Rob Green decided to have the ‘worst moment of his career’ in England’s game against USA, allowing a tame shot from Clint Dempsey to wriggle past him.

2. South African’s quite like blowing the Vuvuzela.Yes, it can be mildly annoying, but we are guests so stop whining.

3. The official Jabulani football is predictably being blamed for every missed shot and every goalkeeping mistake even though the players have been training for several months with the adidas ball.

4. Diego Maradona is mental, but great value on the touchline.

5. Jong Tae Se’s breakdown during the North Korean national anthem is the most passionate outburst of emotion so far.
