Obafemi Martins puts Newcaslte 2-1 up
The Magpies stormed back from an early Habib Beye own goal to run out convincing winners over Boro at St James Park. Goals from Steven Taylor, Obafemi Martins and Peter Lovenkrands saw Alan Shearer pick up his first win in charge of the Premier League club.
With two games remaining Newcastle are in pole position to avoid the drop, but as we all know this season has been anything but predictable!
