Back in your box Amir.

1 win at home all season, 2 away… Hmmm the description that Grimsby are ‘not a very good football team’ seems somewhat generous don’t you think?

No one’s attacking Grimsby Football Club here, just making light of the fact that Hope Powell was being heavily linked with the vacant Grimsby manager’s job in the wake of the most sexist man in football departing Blundell Park.

Not sure where the QPR rant ties in with any of the above. It seems as bizarre as the assertion that Grimsby are ‘refreshingly very pure’…

The author of this article is a total disgrace. The line "Ok, so it’s not a very good football team" is absolutely scandalous. Grimsby are held in very high regard in the football community, and just because they're not performing to their usual standards at the moment, we still recognise Grimsby as a club with great tradition, grace, and still a club who won't give in to the evil that commercialism brings.

For instance, I would much rather support Grimsby Town than a club being compromised by corrupt investment. Take QPR for instance, just take a look at what damage he has done to the club. QPR have sold their souls, and look at them now... every manager they take on have to act as mere puppets to their masters with the team being picked by the people upstairs, transfers going through without approval from their gaffer and just recently Jim Magilton head butting his own players!

So don't tell me that Grimsby are not 'a very good football team' because compared with the commercially corrupt, Grimsby are refreshingly very pure and that's what football is all about.
