Millwall fan, Stuwall, decided to let off some steam on footy website ‘House of Fun’ after not being able to buy a seat for Millwall’s League 1 clash with Charlton on Saturday.
The Lions fan was outraged at not being able to sit in his favourite seat at The New Den. However, Stuwall hadn’t realised the concept of what a season ticket entails and that being a ST holder meant that seat had been reserved for no one else but him!
As one fellow poster pointed out:
“OK Stuwall, this is comedy gold here……
Imagine you go to buy a sofa.
You see one sales clerk and they slap a reserved sticker on it. You can’t take it with you, but can borrow a van and come back later.
When you come back later to pick up your sofa, you don’t try and pay for it again, you ask for sofa.
Its a different sales clerk, he thinks you are trying to buy a sofa that has been sold…..
Do you say, its me its been reserved for, or do you pay all over again and go off with a different sofa?
When the penny finally dropped an embarrassed Stuwall said “I’m sorry. I’ve been done and will take it. Sorry.”
