American golfer Leif Olsen won a top of the range BMW Z4 Roadster at the 2009 RBC Canadian Open after scoring a truly remarkable hole in one at the Glen Abbey Golf Course.
The Duke University student, who has only ever played in one major championship, the 2004 US Open, hit an ambitious looking tee shot, which landed past the hole before deflecting off an opponent’s golf ball and trickling into the cup.
Olsen’s career earnings since turning professional five years ago have been a modest $23,049, so it’s safe to say the fully-loaded Z4 that retails at $51,000 will go someway to help the struggling golfer remain on the PGA Tour.
