Farcical - Alonso's first public appearance for Ferrari

Guess what? Gravel pits actually contain gravel. No really they do. Yeah ok, so you might have already be ITK on this, but somebody ought to have told the doughnut responsible for driving Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa around the Ricardo Tormo circuit near Valencia last week.

The two Ferrari drivers were being paraded in front of 17,000 fans at the legendary Spanish track when their driver (Luca Badoer?) decided to try and get them a bit closer to the action.

What happened next was farcical, with the Ferrari getting stuck in the gravel and Alonso and co attempting to set it free.

It comes as no surprise that Ferrari did not publish any photos of the incident, but we’ve managed to track down a video of the occasion below. Enjoy!
