England head coach Martin Johnson
England have been boosted by the news that flyhalf Toby Flood and flanker Joe Worsley have both shrugged off and now look set to feature in an unchanged Martin Johnson side against Scotland at Twickenham this weekend.
Saturday’s game will be the first time England have named an unchanged 22 since their 2007 World Cup semi-final win over France in Paris. England manager Johnson wants his players to show the same work rate as they did against France last weekend – “The challenge is for our performance level to increase. We need to work just as hard and be just as enthusiastic.”
“Dealing with the mental side of a win like that is tough we have to repeat that intensity. Look at France, they played really well against Wales and then had last week.”
“If we let our standards slip we can lose to anyone” concluded Johnson.
